- If your application is mostly using Azure services, then you can go ahead with Azure Logic Apps and if your application is using Office 365 / Dynamics application then you can probably pick Power Automate.
- If Citizen Developers are creating the application, you can go with Power Automate. If Pro developers are working, then you can go ahead with Logic Apps without any hesitation.
- If you are working with SharePoint as a database, Power Automate is the tool for you.
- What is the number of records you are going to process? If the data size is large, and if you want scalability, I think you should go for Logic Apps even though Power Automate is good with scalability.
- You should also check the connectors provided in Power Automate and Logic Apps before you start working on your application. It may happen that one of the tools doesn’t even provide that connector and in that case, it will be easier for you to choose between the two.
